Prepping for the Big Easy

Just got done putting the final touches on my poster for the Division K (Teaching and Teacher Education) Graduate Student Seminar at AERA.  I am excited to be done with that task, I am excited to share it with the other graduate students and faculty at the seminar, and I am excited to return to New Orleans.  The last time I was in New Orleans I was a rugby player on the University of Wisconsin Rugby Football Club playing in a tournament hosted by the local men’s club.  To save money we pitched tents and camped next to the pitch (rugby speak for field).  This visit I am going to opt for a hotel…
