Amidon Planet Podcast: E015 CREATE – Lessons from Rick Rubin, Malcom Gladwell, & the Broken Record Podcast

Published by Adminidon on

Happy New Year! To start off 2020 I wanted to share my word of the year, which is CREATE, but also I wanted to share some of the motivation for naming CREATE as my word of the year.

The Broken Record Podcast with Rick Rubin and Malcom Gladwell, was shared with me by my University of Mississippi, School of Education colleague, Dr. Ellen Foster. The podcast features interesting people, sharing their stories, about creating good music. It truly is an education on creation. During my time listening I couldn’t help thinking about lessons that could be taken from the podcast and applied to being another kind of artist, a teacher. Thus, the creation of this episode and my word of the year.

Enjoy!
