Amidon Planet Podcast E031: The Tech-Wise Teacher

Published by Adminidon on

What is the center of your teaching? Are you tech-wise?

For some, the answer to the question above might be, “a screen”. In the midst of a global pandemic, with remote/online learning at an all time high, there has never such a push forward in technologically mediated learning. As we are learning how to live and work with more technology we also need to consider how to be intentional with the role that technology will fill in our learning, and in our living. In other words, how do we center teaching, learning, and relationships, and not technology, in our online learning environments?

In this episode of the Amidon Planet Podcast, we use the book, The Tech-Wise Family: Everyday Steps for Putting Technology in Its Proper Place by Andy Crouch, to help us take steps in being more intentional with technology in our teaching.
