Ditching the Discussion Board with Google Docs
Today, I am presenting at the University of Mississippi School of Education’s first ever Google in the Classroom Conference. One of my favorite questions to ask fellow teachers is “What is the best thing you do in the classroom?” and more and more answers are related to technology. So I love the fact that we have an opportunity to share best practices with a set of tools that we (at the university) have access to but also a lot of the teachers we work with have access to. My contribution to the program is how I have been using Google Docs over the past few years, or whenever Dr. Alan Bellman opened my eyes to the possibilities for using Google Docs.
